This alarm is really good for patios. My patio set was stolen now, I set my alarm outside every time I go to sleep or out of the house and I feel safe. It is make a really loud noise and the blinking light bother you in the eyes which is really good. For this price it cannot be better. VMerced

this remote is handy in case you lost the original remote and can’t disarm the alarm.
please note that you can set up your own code combination on your alarm, and the alarm can only be activated/deactivated using a remote that has the same code combination.
