The camera itself is okay. With the included receiver I had no problems getting a signal. The problem is with the antenna that is attached to the camera. It’s very flimsy and broke off shortly after using it by slightly bumping it. Not worth the time to soldering it back on….

What else can I say about this! The picture,the sound, color and clarity of this little camera, is actually better than on my FujiFilm digital camera. The angle of view is highly remarkable. Works just as equal outside and indooors. For all those reasons it deserves a 5 star rating.

Although this camera and receiver are not the best available, for the price it is outstanding! It replaced a camera that costs 3-4 more but did not produce any better quality than this one. High recommend if price a factor

I bought this camera for my radio controlled car. This camera gave me the ability to drive the car with a first person perspective. I hooked the receiver up to my plasma TV and the used Velcro to attach the camera and 9 volt battery to the roof of the RC car. During daylight the pictures were clear and colorful. This camera is quite durable. On one run the camera got sheared off the car because I miss judged the height of the obstacle. The car was moving at a good clip. I reattached the camera to the car and kept on playing. The RC vehicle sustained a cracked rear quarter panel during the test.
At night I attached 2 flashlights (7 LED) to the car. To my surprise the camera worked. The effective distance was about 7 feet and the picture lacked color (B/W).
Battery life with a Duracell 9 volt is between 1 to 2 hours.
If you are looking for a mobile wireless camera that is light and easy to use I would recommend this device. The effective range I have experienced is 30 to 40 feet transmitting through 1 wall.
The transmitter is a 2.4 GHz device and which may be interfered with when using a cordless 2.4GHz phone or 802.11b/g network device. My estimates above account for an 802.11g network device.
